WINE PRIZES

Dom Pérignon Plénitude 2 (P2) 2006

A rare, long-aged expression of Dom Pérignon, the P2 2006 represents the champagne’s “second life” after nearly 15 years on its lees. Crafted from about 55% Pinot Noir and 45% Chardonnay, it reflects the warm 2006 vintage with remarkable richness and precision. The wine opens with aromas of wild peach, citrus, almond pastry, and mocha, leading to a silky yet tense palate layered with toasted hazelnut, dried fruit, and mineral depth. It yields a pure, energetic finish. Elegant and powerful, this champagne pairs beautifully with refined seafood or poultry dishes. While drinking beautifully now, it will continue to evolve gracefully through the 2030s.

VALUE
$549

Dugat-Py Chassagne Montrachet 2022

The 2022 Dugat-Py Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru “Morgeot” Très Vieilles Vignes is a rare, old-vine white Burgundy from 1950 plantings on clay-limestone soils. Aged 18–20 months in 100% new oak and bottled unfiltered, it offers a deep, powerful expression of Chardonnay—rich yet precise, with layers of pear, citrus oil, toasted hazelnut, and wet stone. The palate balances opulence and minerality, finishing long and saline. Only about 700–900 bottles are made each year, making it both collectible and cellar-worthy. Approachable after decanting, it will gain complexity over the next decade, revealing Morgeot’s hallmark depth and Burgundian elegance.

VALUE
$475

Antica Terra “Antikythera Pinot Noir” 2023 – Magnum

Antica Terra’s 2023 Antikythera Pinot Noir is a distinctive magnum from Oregon’s Eola-Amity Hills, embodying complexity and precision. With an aristocratic nose featuring black truffle, sea spray, and incense, this wine offers a racy palate characterized by grippy tannins and pronounced spiciness. Its mineral-driven structure is reminiscent of fine Barolo, setting it apart from typical fruit-forward pinots. Aging gracefully, it shines best from 2026 to 2032 and pairs well with dishes like wild mushroom risotto or roasted duck. Store carefully, as this rare magnum is a testament to true terroir-driven winemaking. Released March 1st, 2026. 596 cases were produced.

VALUE
$540
