Ballet Vero Beach’s 12th Season draws to a close as so many have, with laughter bringing down the house. The company is thrilled to present a full program of works by the godfather of comedy ballet, Peter Anastos. From a troupe of bonkers pirates, to a cadre of frustrated ballerinas, to an absolutely dismal ballet school full of untalented little darlings, Anastos’s works have helped defined Ballet Vero Beach’s signature comic timing. Experience this abbreviated version of the classic ballet, The Sleeping Beauty. Featuring beloved characters, stunning costumes and scenery, and classical choreography. This extra special hour-long performance is specifically geared to the needs of the differently abled individuals of our community and also young children. The performance may include modified audio/visual effects and a venue setup that meets the needs of all attendees.
